  32. As usual, the quoted compression rate is mythical, of course. SDC does
  33. sound nice though, but beware, it only works if you run a sync protocol
  34. which the modem recognizes over the line (probably some SDLC, HDLC, and
  35. BiSync protocols, check their sales propaganda).
